Avon Grove High School Color Guard
The Avon Grove HS Color Guard is a unique performance team that utilizes acting, dance, equipment, and props in complex musical choreography. In the fall, the color guard performs with the Marching Band. The color guard tells the “visual story” of the band’s music. In the winter/spring, the indoor color guard performance is a show to recorded music. During both seasons the color guard gets the opportunity to perform for thousands of people in the tri-state area.
The Color Guard is also unique because it is ALL INCLUSIVE and NO EXPERIENCE IS NECESSARY. Any male or female AGHS student may participate. There are no “cuts” for this team. Everyone that joins is trained in all the necessary skills and given a spot on the team. If you'd like to be a part of our team, contact director Michelle Adcock (madcock@avongrove.org)
“Continuous effort - not strength or intelligence - is the key to unlocking our potential”
